Lillian Broderick
Soprano Lillian Broderick’s (she/her) studio celebrates students of all backgrounds from ages 10-88! Lillian specializes in helping students with preparation for auditions, performances and repertoire selection. Holding a Master of Music degree in Voice with a certificate in Vocal Pedagogy, Lillian has completed advanced course work in managing both the vocal development of the pre-teen singer as well as helping singers of all ages thrive vocally throughout hormonal changes.
A tenth generation Vermonter, Lillian loves her work with local students in her home state and the central Vermont community. As a life-long learner herself, Lillian has been a proud student of Vermont bass Erik Kroncke for over a decade, and enjoys seeing her own students work with Erik in masterclass settings.
As a performer, Lillian has made exciting debuts in both Germany and Italy, in addition to performing closer to home. Her repertoire and training centers around the Italian Bel Canto tradition. She is a proud alumna of the Ezio Pinza Council for American Singers of Opera, where she studied with the late soprano Claudia Pinza. Holding an M.Mus. from the University of Kentucky Opera Theatre program, and additional advanced training from the Middlebury Language School’s “German for Singers” intensive, Lillian brings the fundamental principles of the bel canto style of singing- ease, clarity and sonority - to her pedagogy, which helps students freely sing all genres of vocal music.
