2024 Camps for Kids
Spring Break Rock Camp
Grades 3-5: Apr 22-26, M-F, 9a-3p @ 46 Barre St, Monteverdi studios
This will be a fun, 5-day crash course in modern music for those in grades 3 - 5. We'll form bands, write songs together, and rehearse pop favorites. Best of all, your band will end the week performing onstage for a live audience. Students with musical experience preferred, but mature beginners ready to learn are welcome!
Students will learn from Erin Eberhardt, Monteverdi faculty and board member. Erin specializes in teaching modern music to students with diverse goals and support needs. She brings years of teaching experience —most recently through Monteverdi’s Mighty Music Makers program and through her own music studio. Students will work on songs, learn more chords, dynamics, song structure all week, and we’ll culminate in a concert on Friday afternoon for family and friends.

Young Musical Explorers

Young music makers will try new instruments, explore rhythm and beat, play movement games, and express themselves through music. We’ll fill our days with singing, games, art, jamming, and self-expression. This camp is perfect for beginners or kids with some lessons under their belts - enthusiasm is the key!
