Chloe Brisson
Born in the mountains of New Hampshire, Chloe Louise Brisson wasraised on a musical diet of Folk, Jazz, Blues, Americana, and Jam Bands. Lucky to have music loving parents, her house resonated with the sounds of The Grateful Dead, Steely Dan, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Bonnie Raitt, James Taylor, Cheryl Wheeler, and the like.
As a young musician she was drawn to Jazz specifically, learning under artists such as Sheila Jordan, Ralph Peterson, Jason Moran, Dominique Eade and others. After nearly 15 years of intense Jazz study and attendance at some of the worlds most prestigious conservatories, Brisson experienced a shift in interest towards other genres of music - many of the same sounds she was raised on. Having been deeply affected by her 2019 artist residency experience aboard the Antigua Tallship in the Arctic Circle of Svalbard, Chloe Louise began to re-evaluate her musical path and the ways in which she could further deepen and demonstrate her love of storytelling through her music.
She offers lessons in a variety of popular voice styles (Jazz, Pop, Rock, Blues, RnB) as well as songwriting and arranging, transcription and ear training, notation software, general musicianship, and mentorship for audition preparation.
