Erin Eberhardt
Erin Eberhardt is a multi-instrumentalist and music educator from the Adirondacks. She is a recent graduate of the Berklee College of Music, where she studied education, marimba, and how to best teach students with special needs. Erin’s goal as a music teacher is to provide customized instruction that is driven by student-created goals.
Erin’s music began early with a few piano lessons at the age of eight and grew into curiosity about every instrument she could get her hands on. From brass to string instruments, she is constantly learning new things. Conducting, teaching, and helping others express themselves through music are ways that she hopes to connect with people.
Erin is a proficient pianist, percussionist, and french horn player. Lately, Erin has been rediscovering traditional fiddle music on her viola. She has the most experience in playing classical music but is passionate about teaching popular styles of music. Her wish is that students will play the genres that they are most interested in, to fuel their passion for music. Erin specializes in private lessons, creative group ensembles, and curriculum development. In Montpelier, she teaches private lessons, a family band, a Taylor Swift cover band, and plays with the Green Mountain Youth Symphony. Erin loves to get creative to create unique musical opportunities.
At Monteverdi, Erin wears many hats. She serves on the Board of Directors, co-teaches the Mighty Music Makers After school program, coordinates classes, and is developing school break programming.
